Our Story

06_edited.jpg

Tenute Sinis is a wine estate located on the Sinis Peninsula in Sardinia, a coastal area with a strong identity shaped by constant winds, sandy and calcareous soils, and a pronounced marine influence,  elements that define the style of its wines.

The project began in 2021 with the recovery of a historic vineyard and has developed through an artisanal approach to viticulture focused on quality and sustainable agronomic practices. Production is intentionally limited and focused on enhancing the relationship between grape variety, territory, and vineyard exposure.

The Esposto line identifies wines originating from specific parcels, each defined by its exposure, light, and prevailing winds. The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified to preserve freshness, balance, and a clear sense of place.
Tenute Sinis currently produces approximately 13,000 bottles per year from vineyards located just a few hundred meters from the sea.

The portfolio currently includes two wines: Esposto 221° S.O., Vermentino di Sardegna DOC, and Esposto 133° S.E., a rosé made from Nieddera, a rare indigenous grape native to the Oristano area. The wines are designed primarily for gastronomy and seafood-driven cuisine.

Vermentino di Sardegna DOC | Dry White Wine

Esposto 221° S.O. is produced from Vermentino grapes grown in coastal vineyards located a few hundred meters from the beach of Is Arutas on the Sinis Peninsula.

Pale straw yellow with golden reflections, with aromas of white fruit, pineapple and Mediterranean herbs such as wild fennel and rosemary. On the palate it is fresh, saline and structured, with a balanced and persistent finish.

Particularly suited for seafood cuisine and fine dining
restaurants.

Curiosity

The name refers to the vineyard exposure (221° south-west), directly facing the Maestrale wind coming from the sea.
